In the year 1981, a close knit group of people specialized in the fields of rubber & polymer technology, engineering, marketing, finance & management joined together & identified Automotive Butyl Inner Tubes as the next big wave in the tyre and tube industry. This was the beginning of MYPOL. The company started production within a year in 1982.

Mysore Polymers and Rubber Products (Pvt) Ltd. is a pioneering company in India set up for the manufacture of Butyl Automotive Inner Tubes. Today, MYPOL is among the leading manufacturers of High Quality Butyl Rubber Tubes in India. MYPOL’s product portfolio comprises of automotive butyl tubes (practically every size) for both the domestic and overseas market.

MYPOL has developed & diversified substantially its product mix with a whole host of innovative, specialized technical rubber products like butyl inner tubes, etc. catering exclusively for the export market. We manufacture the complete spectrum of tubes for vehicles ranging from two & three wheelers to passenger cars, light & heavy commercial vehicles, jeeps, tractors & OTRs. Further, we also manufacture tubes as per customers' specifications.

MYPOL combines its know-how with butyl rubber's inherent strength to manufacture butyl inner tubes and other tubes that are among the best in the world. Only the best raw materials from leading manufacturers based all over the globe are used in our products. All raw materials have to pass through strict norms laid out by our Technical, Research & Development departments.

MYPOL’s 12 member strong research, development and technical team is fully tuned to catering to your rubber products & tube design requirements. Our R&D facility is fully equipped to help this strong team to deliver optimum product performance & quality.

MYPOL’s development team can develop products from scratch to cater to specific product applications. We design reverse engineered components as well as customize the existing products to suit client requirements. Since its formation, our team has successfully developed more than 30 products including butyl inner tubes to demanding market requirement and client specification.

Facilities
Located in the historical city of Mysore in India, MYPOL has a modern state-of-the-art facility. The manufacturing facility, laboratory & corporate office are spread across an area of 4.75 acres with a built up area of 10,000 sq. mt. The facilities and capabilities have been nurtured over the years to cater to a wide spectrum of rubber products including a complete range of automotive butyl inner tubes as well as special purpose rubber & rubber to metal bonded industrial components.

Growth
Growth is a trend that MYPOL has exhibited from the day one. Our domestic sales have constantly shown an upward swing. Today, our sales revenue stands at INR 450 million. MYPOL products enjoy great support from all the leading tyre manufacturers in India as well as various markets overseas in the USA, Europe, Middle East, South-East Asia, South America & Africa. The domestic tube replacement market is supported by our strong network of over a thousand dealers all over the country catering to the needs of individual customers.
